Frequently asked questions
What is Dockguard?
Dockguard is a premium marine fender made from high-density EVA foam. It’s designed to absorb impact and protect your boat or jet ski from dock rash, scratches, and gelcoat damage when berthing at marinas, pontoons, or private docks.
Unlike traditional inflatable fenders, Dockguard is designed to be fixed or securely tied in place, creating a clean, stable protection barrier where contact occurs most.
How is Dockguard different from traditional fenders?
Traditional fenders are typically round, inflatable, and designed to hang temporarily over the side of a boat. They can swing, roll, twist, and clutter decks.
Dockguard™:
- Stays locked in position
- Is low-profile and modern
- Is designed specifically for dock-side contact
- Doesn’t require inflation
- Provides consistent protection exactly where needed
Can Dockguard be left on the dock permanently?
Yes. Dockguard™ is designed for fixed or semi-permanent dock-side installation and is:
- UV resistant
- Saltwater resistant
- Suitable for long-term australian marine environment exposure
Many customers choose to leave Dockguard installed at their marina berth or private dock.
What types of boats is Dockguard suitable for?
Dockguard is suitable for:
- Power boats and cruisers
- Day boats
- Tenders
- Jet skis
- Boats berthed at marinas, pontoons, or fixed docks

- Length: 142.5cm
- Width: 19cm

Is Dockguard sold individually or as a set?
Dockguard is currently sold per unit.
