Refund policy

At DockGuard, we stand behind the quality of our products. If something isn't right, we want to make it right.

Australian Consumer Law

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Change of Mind Returns

We accept change of mind returns within 30 days of delivery, provided the item is:

  • Unused and in original condition
  • In its original, undamaged packaging
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase

To initiate a return, please contact us atย tom@dockguardaus.comย with your order number and reason for return. We will provide you with return instructions.

Return shipping costs for change of mind returns are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a tracked service as DockGuard cannot be held responsible for returned parcels that are lost in transit.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, a refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5โ€“10 business days.

Faulty or Damaged Items

If your item arrives damaged or develops a fault within a reasonable time frame, please contact us immediately atย tom@dockguardaus.comย with:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the fault or damage
  • Photos of the issue

We will assess your claim and offer a repair, replacement, or full refund as appropriate under Australian Consumer Law. Return shipping costs for faulty items will be covered by DockGuard.

Wrong Item Received

If you receive an incorrect item, please contact us atย tom@dockguardaus.comย within 7 days of delivery. We will arrange for the correct item to be sent at no additional cost and cover all return shipping.

International Orders

For international customers, the same return policy applies. However, please note that return shipping costs and any applicable customs duties on returned goods are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

Non-Returnable Items

Items that have been used, installed, or damaged through misuse are not eligible for return.
